Juice FM’s Breakfast Show presenters Gemma and Imogen visited Finch Farm recently to meet three first-team players for an exclusive football masterclass!
The girls were invited to the training ground by Kevin Mirallas, Bryan Oviedo and Joel Robles to discover some dressing room secrets, learn a few skills and take part in a special penalty shootout.
Before the training session, the players were grilled to find out what music they listen to ahead of a game, what the team’s favourite song is at the moment and, of course, who is the worst dressed Blue!
Fellow presenter Baz Todd then put Gemma and Imogen through their paces in a special training session, where the girls attempted some keepy-uppys, head tennis and shuttle runs.
Finally, the Breakfast Show presenters picked up some tips on taking penalties before facing Robles in a nail-biting penalty shootout against one another.
Juice FM visited Finch Farm as part of a special on-air promotion which will see listeners have the chance to win a pair of 2015/16 Everton Half Season Tickets.
From Monday 30 November, Juice FM will post a short clip of the training session each day across their social media sites.
Listeners will then be encouraged to tweet or text Juice FM to answer a question based on the clip.
On Monday, two correct entrants will be selected and put live on air to compete against each other in an Everton-themed quiz. On Tuesday, the process will be repeated but this time only one correct entrant will go on air to take on Monday’s winner. From Tuesday, it will be ‘winner stays on’ until Friday.
On Friday 4 December, each finalist will be randomly allocated #teamgemma or #teamimogen before Juice FM reveals the audio and video of the penalty shootout and, whichever finalist has been allocated the winning girl, wins the prize.
To enter the Juice FM 2015/16 Everton Half Season Ticket competition and to find out if it was Gemma or Imogen who came out victorious, tune in from 6am on Monday 30 November or visit JuiceFM.com!
