Distin was wrong to have a go at Everton fans despite Palace frustrationsEverton season-ticket holder Kathy Keig was at Crystal Palace as Sylvain Distin became involved in a row with his own fans, when he complained at being booed. 'I go to every home and away game and Palace is the worst ground to get to. It was an horrendous journey, kick-off was delayed because the traffic was terrible. 'So you could say there was frustration from the start. It was a disappointing game. We had 71 per cent possession and it felt like we were playing a passing game without an end product. There was no sense of urgency. In with the fans: Sylvain Distin approached supporters at the end of the game but it didn't go down well with some fans Bemused: Distin gestures towards to the travelling Everton supporters Everton have now not conceded a Premier League goal for 330 minutes. 'We have had a change of manager and style. We were known as a pressing team. Roberto Martinez wants to have a patient, passing game and it’s very different. 'We are used to seeing players get into faces. It seems we have lost that aggression. 'I could never bring myself to boo an Everton player but I was frustrated too. The fans have a right to express their opinion. Distin has a great rapport with the supporters. Open and honest: Distin likes to interact with football fans on Twitter Frustration: Everton's Kevin Mirallas (left) couldn't find a way past Dean Moxey (right) and the rest of the Palace defence 'I think both sides made the comments out of frustration. 'His game fell below the high standards he sets himself and the same could be said about his team-mates. It was a bad day all round.' Source: Mail

I think supporters who travel the world following the team can say what they want as they've earned the right so if Distin isn't happy he can take it out on his team mates in the dressing room and hopefully we'll be up for it for the derby game. I don't like boo boys, but our away fans give our team amazing support so it works both ways.

It all depends what was said and how they said it but I reckon someone went over the top for him to get upset.
