What will Martinez say about them? Will we hear how deadly they are in attack, or how they are working magnificently under their new manager and how it will be a very honourable battle? He will feel the heat a bit if he loses put it that way.

Retro Day returns for VillaEverton’s upcoming home game against Aston Villa has been designated as the Club's themed Retro Day fixture for this season. The retro theme will be focussed this year on the 1980s and the glorious era led by Howard Kendall. Fans young and old are encouraged to wear their retro shirts - if you have a shirt from the 80s, all the better! After two resoundingly successful Retro Days in each of the last two seasons - the Fan Zone and, Matchday Hub - as well as the Family Enclosure inside Goodison Park and all of the big screen output - will be retro-focussed and delivering a wide range of special features, activities and giveaways. Captain Phil Jagielka will be at the Matchday Hub to meet supporters and pose for photos between 1pm-1.30pm, where there will be a new DJ and host in addition to the normal face painting, skill sessions, Match Attax display and FIFA16 pod. There will be more details of activities in the Hub revealed in the coming days - along with details of how to get involved in the skills coaching sessions in the indoor gym. And at both the Fan Zone and the Hub, fans wearing retro Everton shirts or presenting retro items such as programmes or ticket stubs, will be able to take advantage of giveaways of traditional flat caps, rattles, football sticker-type pin badges and special edition iPhone covers. Prior to the day itself, we also want YOUR best photos from watching the Toffees in the 1980s. www.evertonfc.com/news/2015/11/10/retro-day-returns-for-villaThe best images will be collated on a special gallery on the website, in the matchday programme and will also be displayed on screens around the ground. There will be special prizes and giveaways on offer to the best photos provided.
