Naismith In For ScotlandForward called up for friendlies against USA and Norway. Steven Naismith has been named in the Scotland squad for their upcoming encounters with the USA and Norway. Naismith, a squad regular, is part of a 25-man party named by Gordon Strachan for the games later this month. The international break follows this weekend's Everton match away at Crystal Palace. The first contest sees a likely clash between Naismith and club mate Tim Howard as the USA visit Hampden Park on 15 November. The Scots then head to Norway for a second friendly four days later. Meanwhile, striker Apostolos Vellios has been selected by Greece Under-21s for their games against Sweden and Poland. I'm starting to appreciate Naismith a lot more and hope he continues to grow with the team as a player
