Jonjoe Kenny played the full 90 minutes as 10-men Wigan Athletic slipped to a last-gasp 3-2 defeat away to Port Vale. The 18-year-old defender, who was booked in the contest, helped the Latics come from behind to level after Anthony Grant and Louis Dodds had put the hosts ahead. But a disastrous final two minutes cost Gary Caldwell’s side, with Leon Barnett seeing red before Uche Ikpeazu’s injury-time strike earned Vale all three points. Midfielder Francisco Junior, who is also on loan at Wigan, was not involved in the League One fixture. Calum Dyson has returned to Finch Farm following a successful one-month loan spell with Stockport County that included three goals for Alan Lord’s side. Jordan Thorniley, however, remains on loan with County and played the full game as the National League North outfit were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Brackley on Saturday. The Hatters, who were also reduced to 10 men, took the lead via an own goal 11 minutes into the second half - but Sam Smith’s strike just seven minutes later earned the visitors a point at Edgeley Park. Luke Garbutt continues his recovery from an ankle injury at Finch Farm, so missed Fulham’s 2-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers at Craven Cottage. Goalkeeper Russell Griffiths has returned to Everton after completing a loan spell with Northwich Victoria, where he kept four clean sheets in five games.
