Given my Forum name, it gives me great pleasure to report that Bolasie has scored.....3in11

Why am I jealous of a Crystal Palace supporter?

Why am I jealous of a Crystal Palace supporter? It's a funny old game, football.

FULL TIME: SUNDERLAND 1 - 4 CRYSTAL PALACE. It gets windy on the East Coast....Sunderland had the wind behind them for the first 45. It took 16 minutes for Palace to make full use of it and put 4 past Pantilimon. Murray opened the scoring with a close range header after Bolasie's shot was blocked 2 mins after the re-start. 3 and a bit mins later, Murray headed to Bolasie in the centre and his shot found the right corner of the net beyond Pantilimon's reach. Barely 2 mins later, Jedinak slotted a ball through the middle and Bolasie repeated the formula. We had to wait a whole 8 minutes for the next......does the phrase 'knife through butter' mean anything to you?.....same corner of the goal, same goal scorer, collecting from another Murray assist. 4 goals in 16 minutes and 3 in 11 for Bolasie. That's the first ever Premiership hat-trick for a Palace player! You wait ages and then 3 come along at once...... When Bolasie came off shortly after for Sanogo, the 40,000 in the ground at kick-off looked more like 15,000. And they kept leaving. Which might have been as much due to the fact that Palace were now effectively playing with 10 men. (Sanogo defies easy description, if he was a centre back it'd be easy; Third Goalpost, but this is meant to be an Arsenal striker in the making....no ****ing way Arsene, you've sold us a pup.) The game was as good as over although a couple of late flurries from both sides might have produced more than Connor Wickham's consolation goal if Gayle had been used rather than Sanogo....still, can't complain eh? Sunderland are as bad as their position suggests, Palace look better than theirs would suggest and on current form, we are top 4 material. I need a lie down.
