It may be tough at the bottom of the top tier of England's Football pyramid but a couple of Managers have clung on after those around them are little but bad memories.
Here for the hard of hearing is my full colour review of the casualties and survivors so far:
Departing Managers Arriving Managers In & Out's Gold Plated Survivors
11 Newcastle United Happy to take the compo for Alan Pardew and install total failure coach John Carver.
12 Crystal Palace Pulis walked, Millen filled in, Warnock talked (and talked) but had to go, Millen filled in, Pardew arrived from NUFC and relative calm ensued...phew!
13 West Bromwich Albion Alan Irvine failed to inspire just about everybody. Tony Pulis arrived to reprise his work at Palace, which (it's no surprise) he is doing very adequately.
14 Everton Martinez has been serenely crossing troubled waters and dodging justifiable criticisms but looks to be answering the fans questions now.Better late than.....
15 Hull City It didn't look that likely that Steve Bruce would still be on Humberside for season's end but he is and a new contract's on the table.
16 Aston Villa Poor Old Paul Lambert, just couldn't get them to play but along comes Steve Sherwood and suddenley they're looking menacing.... and did for Poyet on Saturday to boot.
17 Sunderland Humiliated once too often this season, Gus Poyet carried the blame with honesty and now carries his cards. Dick Advocaat arrives for damage limitation and to open his account in the EPL.
18 Burnley Sean Dyche has unfinished business and nobody's getting in HIS way!
19 Queens Park Rangers Dodgy Harry Redknapp had a dodgy knee so they gave the job to Mr Chris Ramsey. Look at the size of the pile of **** he's been dropped in!! A tough baptism and no mistake.
20 Leicester City Nigel Pearson's survived without too much fuss - or too many positives either. Continuity is the name of Leicester's game at least until May.

Here for the hard of hearing is my full colour review of the casualties and survivors so far: Well now I've gone blind thanks to those bright colours. Cheers for the summary. Lambert's time was always up after just surviving relegation last season. Pullis is a decent short term manager if a club needs to consolidate a Premier League place for a few seasons. Martinez. I'm sorry but isn't Prem quality. I think we just went for him because of the game where they tore us an new bth_thsmileyand won the FA Cup. Dyche needs a fair crack of the whip and Poyet isn't a manager full stop.
