Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar could return for Everton’s Europa League clash wiith Young Boys tomorrow, says Roberto Martinez.The influential pair have not appeared for the first team since December but both had 70-minute run-outs in the Under-21s’ goalless draw at Manchester United last week. Each will now be assessed ahead of the game at Goodison - although winger Christian Atsu is set to miss out with a virus. Aiden McGeady (knee), Bryan Oviedo (hamstring), Tony Hibbert (muscle), John Stones (suspended) and Aaron Lennon (ineligible) will also be absent, howeverSylvain Distin is fit and available for selection. Speaking at the pre-match press conference at Finch Farm, Martinez said: “We’re still hoping that we’re going to get a couple of players back. Its been disappointing to lose Bryan Oviedo and Aiden McGeady of late.  “We’re going to assess Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar but they are looking ready to make the squad, and that’s important. “Christian Atsu is going to miss out on the squad through illness, he’s got a virus, Tony Hibbert is still recovering and hasn’t been able to join the group but Sylvain Distin is fully fit and available. “We’re going to try to be as strong as we can be in the game tomorrow and on Sunday (at Arsenal), and then again on Wednesday (at Stoke City). “It’s going to be a really demanding week and it’s important we’ve got everybody in the squad ready.” By Greg O’Keeffe, Liverpool Echo
