David Sullivan's son posts disparaging remarks about Hammers captain and suggests that he is lucky to be playing at a level above League Two West Ham United co-owner David Sullivan might well be a little red-faced after his son Dave posted a series of disparaging remarks on Twitter about first-team players. The London side almost pulled off an impressive FA Cup third round victory away to Everton on Tuesday night only for Romelu Lukaku to cancel out Jack Collins' 56th-minute goal with an injury-time equaliser. However, the performance was overshadowed by the tweets - some of them highly personal and the most offensive of which was eventually removed. The first remark, on the @davesulley account, was sent out near kick-off time and he replies with laughter icons to another fan's post which refers to the non-appearance on the team-sheet of striker Andy Carroll, who had bruised his foot in training, with the words: "Andy Carroll's birthday and his ''magically'' gets injured. Coincidence.” Sullivan Jr then replies with the message: "If anyone sees Andy Carroll out tonight and can prove that it is tonight please send me a photo with proof it's today." The next to come under fire is Kevin Nolan, who was returning to captain the side at Goodison Park. Young Sullivan says: "How the f--- Nolan is playing about League 2 amazes me. gives us all hope. Can we leave Nolan in Liverpool though seriously." He then makes reference to the departure on loan to Queens Park Rangers of Mauro Zarate. "Livid how sam says zarate isn't good enough to play for west ham and nolan is somehow." Eventually aware that his tweets had caused a stir, Sullivan takes down the most offesnive Nolan post but seems far from contrite. "Phone virtually crashing with the amount of mentions so tweets with the most stuff have been taken down but I stand by my opinion that ... "Again just reiterating if anyone doesn't like how I am handling club affairs please unfollow me I'm not going to change." He signs off with the message: "Anyways wish all the loyal hammers a safe journey back from Liverpool." It is not the first time one of Sullivan's offspring has caused him embarrassment on social media. Exactly two years ago, Jack Sullivan was forced to apologise after he greeted the arrival of Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh at West Ham with the message: "I am very sorry about this news Chamakh has sign a 6 month loan deal! no my pick."
