Further speculation surrounds Bournemoth's Steve Cook, a Central Defender who has played at Left Back too. He was first rumoured to be on Palace's radar last April during Pulis' reign but rumours have resurfaced on internet news sites and on Palace fan site The Holmesdale.net. With Delaney having, it seems, decided not to renew his contract and with Hangeland being the age he is, a bit of extra CB cover would be usefull.
