Larsson looks to EvertonMidfielder previews Sunday's SoL showdown.
A win over Everton on Sunday would make Sunderland’s start to the campaign a positive one, according to Sweden international Sebastian Larsson. The 29-year-old has featured in all of the Black Cats’ Barclays Premier League matches this season, and he is hoping to continue that trend when Everton come to town on Sunday (KO 1.30pm). And the midfielder believes that three points against the Toffees would complete a satisfying start to the season. “I think if we win we can look at it as a good start to the season, especially with it coming before an international break because it is always nice to get a good result going into one. “I’m enjoying the season so far and before the two results against Southampton and Arsenal I thought we had a steady start, so there are a lot of positives to show that we are moving in the right direction.” He added: “I am happy to have been starting so far and that is exactly what you want to be doing, so hopefully it will continue because it is great to be involved.” And although Larsson admits Roberto Martinez’s side will be hard to beat, he is confident that if the Black Cats perform they are more than capable of picking up a positive result. “Whenever you play Everton it is a tough game but we have had some success against them lately. “They were kind of a bogey team for us but during the last couple of seasons we have done okay, so touch wood we can put in another good performance and get the three points.”
