Ross Barkley is back in the England squad for the forthcoming Euro 2016 qualifier against Slovenia and home nation friendly with Scotland.
The midfielder joins Goodison Park teammates Leighton Baines and Phil Jagielka who have also been named in Roy Hodgson’s 26-man group.
Barkley returns to the international picture after missing England’s last four fixtures because of the knee injury sustained in training on the eve of the 2014/15 season.
The midfielder made his comeback for Everton in the 3-0 home victory over Aston Villa last month and has since played in three more matches for the Blues.
England, who have won their opening three Euro 2016 qualifiers in Group E, entertain Slovenia at Wembley on Saturday 15 November.
The Three Lions then travel to Celtic Park to play rivals Scotland on Tuesday 18 November, meaning a possible meeting with Blues teammate Steven Naismith for the England trio.
Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku is in the Belgium squad for their Euro 2016 qualifier against Wales and friendly against Iceland.
And on the Under-21s scene, Luke Garbutt has been called up for England for the friendly double-header against Portugal and France.
