Everton has launched a search for a local football coach who goes above and beyond the call of duty, as part of its heart-warming Christmas campaign. The winning amateur football coach will become the first Blue Hero of Everton’s 12 Days of Blue Crimbo. This year’s campaign will look to reward a number of deserving members of the community throughout December and the winning coach will launch the Blues’ 2014 campaign. Every single day, all year round, coaches and managers of local football teams put in a lot of time and effort not only training and developing young budding footballers but supporting them as they grow up. For the coaches, it’s just reward to see their team enjoying their football but Everton recognise the hard work that football coaches put in and will surprise one of the nominated individuals with an extra special gift to get their Christmas off to the best possible start. So, if you have a coach that goes the extra mile, or perhaps your children’s football coach has helped their team overcome the odds to secure victory, then the Club wants to hear from you. To nominate an amateur football coach, simply complete the form below, explaining exactly why they deserve to win. The deadline for entries is Wednesday 12 November at midday – so don’t delay, nominate your coach today. www.evertonfc.com/news/2014/11/05/search-for-a-blue-hero
