Everton duo Izzy Christiansen and Sandy MacIver have been named in the England squad for the Lionesses’ upcoming training camp and international friendly match against Germany.
Goalkeeper MacIver and midfielder Christiansen have been integral members of an Everton team that has started the 2020/21 season in blistering style.
The Blues have won all four of their league matches and qualified for the 2020 FA Cup final, where they will meet Manchester City on Sunday 1 November.
England, managed by former Everton captain Phil Neville, will hold an inter-squad training match at St George’s Park on Friday 23 October.
The Lionesses will then take on Germany – who are ranked behind only the USA in the FIFA world rankings – at the Brita Arena in Wiesbaden on Tuesday 27 October (3pm).
Christiansen and MacIver have started all of Everton’s league and FA Cup matches this season.
Over the course of those six victories, the Blues have scored 19 goals and conceded just two.
MacIver will be hoping to make her senior England debut in the clash against Germany, while Christiansen is in line to add to her 31 international caps.
