Any one remember him? Played for Czechoslovakia in the 1990 World Cup. I'm sure we were after him but I can't remember for sure.
Martin Dahlin was another. I can't remember why he didn't join. I remember Muller the Brazilian forward but I think he wanted us to pay his taxes or something.
Can anyone else remember any others we failed to get during or after a World Cup Tournament?

I have to say my memory isn't the best.
If we're using the WC as a scouting platform though we're in trouble.
