Chrlton Athletic manager Karl Robinson looks on during the Sky Bet League One match betweenNorthampton Town and Charlton Athletic at Sixfields on March 4, 2017 in Northampton, England. “If I was him I’d be looking to go in January but we should look for £5 million minimum. Maybe we could try for a loan back but the player has to want that." Charlton have sold academy products Ademola Lookman and Joe Gomez to Everton and Liverpool, respectively, in recent years. However, it is Everton who are said to be leading the race to sign Konsa, after Toffees scout Martyn Glover watched him in action against Blackburn last month. I thought picking us over the pinkies would be an easy decision, we have 2 CB's in Jags & Williams, that are well into their 30's, so if Ezri is good enough, he'd have an excellent chance of actually starting prem games with us, whereas over at Anfield, he has 4 or 5 players ahead of him in his CB position & may never even reach the bench, nevermind start a prem game for several years, unless of course he thought playing with their kids for a few seasons would enhance his career? If it's about managers, then I could see Klopp being more of a pull than Allardyce, except it's unlikely that Sam will be at EFC after this summer, as Moshiri will want to go ahead and bring in his man, be it Silva, or another progressive manager/coach, as soon as possible!

Welcome WL. There's definitely an opportunity for defenders at Everton, given not one player has staked their place this season, and the age of 2 of them. However, at just 20 years old, is it just a case of him joining the u23 team? Is he good enough to start in the first team?
