Aaron Lennon says Everton feel confident enough to topple any team at Goodison Park ahead of the visit of reigning Premier League champions Chelsea. The Blues welcome Antonio Conte’s in-form side on Saturday, looking to extend their unbeaten run of six games.Despite a difficult start to the 2017/18 season, the Toffees’ domestic home record for the calendar year remains mightily impressive, with 15 wins from 19 games. On top of that, the 47 goals scored in those fixtures is only bettered by Manchester City (52) in England’s top-flight. Lennon, who has featured in every domestic game since new manager Sam Allardyce took charge last month, is now eyeing another scalp against Chelsea in front of another sell-out crowd. “We all know Chelsea are a great side but we’re in a good run of form and at Goodison we fancy our chances against anyone so we’’re looking forward to that one,” Lennon told evertontv. “We’ve always had that here. We know at home the fans get behind us and we’re a match for any team if we’re at it. We know that no team really wants to come to Goodison and if we’re at it we can get a result. “We’ve got players who can score goals and create goals, we’ve got a lot of quality not just in the side but also on the bench there’s players who can do it. And from set pieces we’re looking so dangerous. Wazza [Wayne Rooney], Gylfi [Sigurdsson] - they’ve got great delivery so we’re a threat coming from all angles now.” After an upturn in form since the end of November, Everton currently sit on 25 points from their opening 18 games - just one point worse off than at the same stage last campaign. A 3-1 comeback win over Swansea City last time out saw the Blues leapfrog Watford into ninth and move within one point of eighth-placed Leicester City and six points away from Tottenham Hotspur. When asked about breaking back into the top seven - and targeting European football for next term, Lennon added: “It’s where we belong. We’re a good side, we’ve got a great squad here, a top manager and we’re pushing up the table. But definitely we want to be aiming for the European spots.” Everton FC

Merson predicting us losing at home 3-0 is a bit strange.
