Everton v ChelseaPremier League Saturday 23 December, 2017 Goodison Park 12.30pm kick-off TEAM NEWSSam Allardyce has confirmed Ross Barkley, James McCarthy and Yannick Bolasie have returned to training, yet only Bolasie has a chance of making the matchday squad for Saturday's game. Seamus Coleman (broken leg), Ramiro Funes Mori (knee) and Leighton Baines (calf) remain out. FORM Everton look to continue their good form following Sam Allardyce’s arrival and stretch their unbeaten run to six games following Monday night’s win over Swansea City at Goodison Park. The Swans took the lead after Leroy Fer found himself unmarked from a corner to prod past Jordan Pickford. The Blues, after a sluggish first period, bounced back on the stroke of half-time and, after Aaron Lennon was tripped in the box, Dominic Calvert-Lewin was first on hand to score the rebound from Wayne Rooney’s penalty. Into the second half and Gylfi Sigurdsson returned to haunt his old side with a top-quality strike from 25 yards, picking up the ball from Rooney and bending a finish into the far corner past Lukasz Fabianski’s dive. The game was wrapped up in the final 15 minutes with another penalty, this time Jonjoe Kenny getting tripped and Rooney smashing the ball into the back of the net after missing his earlier spot-kick. ONE TO WATCH: EDEN HAZARD With Alvaro Morata suspended, Chelsea will look to their Belgian starlet Hazard to lead the line to cause the Everton defence issues. Hazard has been a revelation since his introduction into England in 2012, having scored 62 Premier League goals and contributing 37 assists, too. In that time he has picked up two league winners' medals in 2014/2015 - the season he secured the Player of the Season award - as well as 2016/2017, whilst in the latter campaign, scooping the Goal of the Month award for his amazing solo effort against Arsenal. This term, Hazard has netted five times, most recently scoring a brace against Newcastle United in a 3-1 win. LAST TIME: CHELSEA 2-1 EVERTON Last time out, Everton travelled to Stamford Bridge for a fourth-round tie in the Carabao Cup. It was the then caretaker manager, David Unsworth’s first game in charge of the Blues and the ex-Blue fielded a relatively changed side, handing a first start of the season to James McCarthy and a debut to Beni Baningime. Everton fell behind in the first half after Antonio Rudiger’s header looped in from the back post after a corner. In the second half it was the away side that looked most dangerous to score, Willy Caballero doing extremely well to keep out Wayne Rooney, before being only a spectator as he watched Ademola Lookman’s strike hit the bar. However, it was another corner that undid Everton as Willian skipped past two defenders before smashing the ball in off the post in the 90th minute. One minute later, the Toffees grabbed one back through Dominic Calvert-Lewin after Oumar Niasse had created space. MAN IN THE MIDDLE: BOBBY MADLEY Bobby Madley first earned his spot in the Select Group of Premier League officials from the 2013/14 Premier League season, and has gone on to referee more than 80 top-flight matches, including nine times this campaign. Madley has shown five red cards this season, including one the last time he officiated an Everton game, brandishing a red card to Manchester City’s Kyle Walker in the 1-1 draw in August.

I hate these almost as much as Liverpool so don't lose and spoil my Christmas. We might beat them. Liverpool failed and they're better than Chelsea in my book this season. We won't be able to make any mistakes and just have to be clinical if we get a chance. I actually fancy us.
