Unfortunately it's become a case of 'needs must' hasn't it? We're struggling, and in real danger, so it's a preventative measure. He'll still have the same players to work with, until we can buy reinforcements, so not expecting miracles. I think Big Sam will see this through and you guys will be in the league next summer but what after that. He is a mediocre manager. Everton simply cannot have him if their aim is Champions League. We're miles away from Champions league. Fans who think we can sell our top players, and spread that value across the squad, and still achieve Champions league are not looking at the bigger picture. Even if we still had Lukaku, there's the small problem of the other teams in the league, who have been spending a lot of money for a long time perfecting their squads.

Everton has come a long way. From ambitions to win the league and the treble to surviving the relegation battle... It's a delight to be a Liverpool fan to see Everton appoint Big Sam. Jokes apart... I for one am unable to understand how Everton are appointing Big Sam. You lot have one of the best squads in the league after the spending spree in summer. How will talented players like Rooney and Sigurdsson take it? I feel sorry for you guys. You won't be laughing when the fat ***** goes on a 20 game winning streak and Davies puts Salah on crutches lmao.
