Siri Hoping Inside Knowledge Helps LadiesDutch defender looking forward to facing international teammates on Sunday.Everton will have the inside track on four of Arsenal’s key players on Sunday when the Gunners visit the Select Security Stadium. The Londoners boast four members of Holland’s European Championship-winning side in goalkeeper Sari van Veenendaal, defender Dominique Janssen, midfielder Daniëlle van de Donk and highly-rated young striker Vivianne Miedema. But Blue Girls defender Siri Worm knows the quartet well from her own time with Oranje and says she'll pass on whatever knowledge she can to help the side in their bid to pick up a first WSL 1 win of the season. “Arsenal have a lot of Dutch girls in their squad so it will be useful to know of them,’ she told evertonfc.com. “I have played with them a lot of times and I know how they like to play. Hopefully that will be helpful on the day. “For Marthe [Munsterman] and I, it will be special to play against them. The Dutch team is a very good side and it is nice to see a lot of the girls playing here in England. It is what attracted me to come to Everton. “It will be good to play against the likes of Sari and Dominique, but we know Arsenal are a strong team. We played them in pre-season so we know all about them and we are confident after we beat Doncaster in our last game.” After beginning the season in the starting line-up for the curtain raiser against Liverpool back in September, Worm has been forced to settle for a place on the bench in recent weeks. However, the 25-year-old is working hard to push her way back into the first XI and recognises that she was always going to need time to adapt to football in a new country. “Of course, you want to play every game,” she added. “But it is a big step for me coming from Holland to England. “I think it takes some time to know the difference between the countries and to adjust. But training is going well every week and I will improve. I will take my time and then take my chances when the opportunities come along.” Everton FC
