Dominic Calvert-Lewin is off to a solid start this season for Everton. A lack of service has meant that the goals have not been there, but no one can question the quality of his play with his smart running and quick thinking. His ability has been rewarded with a nomination for the UEFA Golden Boy Award. If we’re being honest, what really earned Calvert-Lewin his spot here is his play for the English U-20 national team and their World Cup winning campaign where he covered himself in glory by doing this: His strong form for his country has continued at the U-21 level, where he recently bagged this goal against the Netherlands in the qualifiers for the 2019 Euros: DCL has the makings of a very capable Premier League striker. I would not expect Real Madrid or Bayern to come calling for his services at any point, but he is proving that he deserves his place in the English Premier League, and frankly that he deserves more minutes on this Premier League team than he has received.

He's a promising player but we're kidding ourselves expecting him to be our striker in a league as hard as the Premier League.
