Everton Ladies will be holding trials for a new Under-9s age group at their Regional Talent Centre (RTC). Footballing youngsters are being invited to show off their skills at St John Bosco Arts College on Monday 25 and Thursday 28 September, between 5-6pm. Everton Ladies already have six teams ranging from Under-10s to the Toffees’ professional First Team Squad and this latest addition will help more girls of all experience develop in football. Former players who established themselves at the RTC include Nikita Paris, Alex Greenwood, Toni Duggan and Izzy Christiansen - all of which are now current England internationals. Seven of the current Under-16s squad have also played internationally. Everton Ladies Manager, Andy Spence, said: “We’re proud to have a strong history of developing young footballers and our RTC provides a clear pathway to the First Team. “The upcoming trials are a chance for girls to experience a professional training session and ultimately, have some fun! From there, we will be selecting players for our new Under-9s team who will become part of our Everton Ladies family. “We hope to see lots of new faces on the day!” www.evertonfc.com
