Coleman and Barkley presented with awards at annual event. Seamus Coleman and Ross Barkley were the winners at the annual Supporters’ Club Awards. Everton invited our extensive network of official supporters' clubs to attend the event at Goodison Park on Wednesday evening. The clubs from around the world had voted for their Player and Goal of the Season and the winners themselves were in attendance. Right-back Coleman was the people's choice for the top accolade, while England international Barkley earned the latter award for his stunning solo strike at Newcastle United. Approximately 100 Evertonians were in attendance, with over 30 branches represented, including North East Branch, Cumberland Supporters and West Country Blues. As well as meeting Coleman and Barkley, the supporters had the chance to hear from the duo during on-stage interviews with Media and Publications Manager, Darren Griffiths. Everton legend Graeme Sharp and Blue boxer Tony Bellew also joined in proceedings, posing for photographs with fans and sharing their thoughts on the season so far. Coleman said: "Any personal award is always nice, but it’s extra special when you know it’s from the supporters who watch us week-in and week-out. I'm really flattered."
