Young female footballers are being offered the chance to improve their skills, thanks to Everton Ladies. The Club is offering girls aged five to 13 the chance to be trained by Academy coaches and experience was it’s like to play at USM Finch Farm – home of the Blues. Participants will also have the chance to meet their footballing heroes, as members from the Everton Ladies team will be popping down to show their support and offer some top-tips. Kicking off on Saturday 26 August, the session will be broken down into three, age tailored, 90-minute sessions and parents can sign their youngsters up by clicking here. If that wasn’t enough, two special Soccer Camps are being held on Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 August, to give youngster the chance to further improve their football. Located at Speke Goals in South Liverpool, girls aged nine to 14 can enjoy two full days with Academy coaches, providing in-depth lessons on attacking and defending, before taking part in a camp tournament. Sessions last from 9:30am – 3pm and youngsters are expected to bring their own lunch and drinks. Prices start from £15 per day or £25 if you book both days. Members of Everton Ladies Sister Clubs are being offered a discount rate of £10 per day or £17 for both. To register, please click here. Andy Spence, Everton Ladies Manager said: “We’re delighted to be offering youngsters the chance to train like Everton Ladies and enhance their footballing skills. “Girls’ football is continuing to grow and we’re passionate about making sure girls have the opportunity to enjoy the sport. Although this was initially aimed at Everton’s Sister Clubs, we felt that local people of all abilities should be able to join in and, hopefully, fall in love with the game. “So, whether you’ve kicked a ball before or not, we hope to see you there!”
