On the day his Everton testimonial was announced, Leon Osman lasted just six minutes of the home clash with Arsenal. The Toffees skipper was forced off with a nasty wound above his eye having felt the full weight of Bacary Sagna on his face. Osman had slid to dispossess the Arsenal full-back only to commit the foul and see his opponent come crashing down on top of him. The midfielder immediately signalled his distress and blood was seen coming from the cut near to his eye. Referee Martin Atkinson, however, had already produced his yellow card and, as Osman left the field, the caution was issued. Osman could not continue and was replaced by Ross Barkley.
