How long are they there for? We've got a home game on the 6th of August and don't we have to play a Europa game near the end of July?

Ahead of the Everton first-team squad arriving in Tanzania for their first pre-season fixture against SportPesa Super Cup champions Gor Mahia on Thursday 13 July, former Blue Leon Osman has flown to East Africa early to find out more about the country and experience its cultures.
Fresh from a cycle tour of Dar es Salaam the previous day, the Everton Academy graduate travelled to the north of Tanzania to take in a lesson of Maasai culture and a visit to the ‘eighth wonder of the world’.
An early morning flight on Monday 10 July saw Ossie and a travelling party of SportPesa representatives journey to Lake Manyara, one of Tanzania’s most popular safari destinations, to take in some of the most spectacular sights of the East African country.
Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro O’Ideani Mountain Lodge, Maasai warriors performed a hero’s welcome dance for Ossie before the party made their way onto to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater; a deep volcanic crater – the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world.
At 600 metres deep and 300 square kilometres in area, the crater forms a stunning backdrop to some of the most fertile and richest grazing grounds in Africa and is often referred to by Tanzanians as the ‘eighth wonder of the world’. The Crater is not just home to some of Tanzania’s most exotic wild animals, but also the Maasai people who act as conservationists for the area.
Ossie got the chance to visit a Maasai village – the Ngorongoro Maasai Boma – where he immersed himself in Maasai culture. He was shown a traditional fire-lighting method using two pieces of wood, and took a tour of a Maasai house – known as an Emanyatta – which was made from bamboo and cow dung. Then the tour moved into the crater and a guided safari drive across one of Africa’s most famous plains, where giraffes, zebras, antelope, gazelles, wildebeest and buffalo live side-by-side. There was also a trip to a watering hole, where dozens of hippos cooled off from the searing heat before Ossie and the party got to witness a pride of lion cubs play-fighting whilst their mother looked on. Speaking on his first-ever safari experience, Ossie said: “It’s been a fantastic day. To be able to get that close to the animals in their own environment, and to see how they interact and mingle with each other, was amazing.”
“The Maasai Village was incredible. To be able to see how they live and get an insight into their daily lives was a fascinating experience. I met the son of the chief of the village who took me into his house and he was telling me how his father had 11 wives and 73 kids. It was really amazing to listen to him and hear his stories.”
“I feel very humble that I’ve been asked to come to Tanzania in advance of the first-team to represent the Club and experience this great country. SportPesa and the Tanzanian Tourist Board have really looked after us and made us feel very welcome.”
Ronald Koeman’s first-team squad will arrive in Tanzania on Wednesday 12 July for their first 2017/18 pre-season friendly outing. The trip, which celebrates the Club’s new main partnership with gaming giant SportPesa, will see the Blues take on Gor Mahia at the 60,000 capacity Tanzania National Main Stadium in Dar-es-Salaam on Thursday 13 July, 5pm kick-off local time (3pm kick off BST).

Barkley not travelled? Supposed to have a groin strain- or is a move away in the offing?
