Galloway returns to Everton but can't play for senior team Brendan Galloway returned to Everton, and played for the u23's in their victory over Spurs last night, but he is not eligible to play for the Everton first team. He's been given permission to return from West Brom, after only playing in 5 games all season for the Baggies. West Brom paid a loan fee of £1 million for Galloway's services, and he remains registered with them until the loan deal expires. Galloway set up the first goal last night. Welcome Back mate !

Can he challenge Baines for Left Back next season? It would be nice to see him play in the first team again considering he did do pretty well when Bainsy was hurt, but I don't think he brings to attacking quality that RK would expect from him.

I liked Luke Garbutt also. I'm not sure Baines provides much of an attacking threat anymore.

He looked to get forward a lot when he played for us. Baines is a steady player but he has missed Pienaar. We sold Oviedo which is an indication that somebody will step up or a new player will come in.
