Tom Cleverley has been talking about getting the 'feel-good factor' back after his loan move to Watford. Cleverley left Everton for the Hornets on Thursday and played in the last 15 minutes of their 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough on Saturday. Afterward, he said: "I spoke to Troy because I knew him and coming here with Everton a few weeks ago, I saw the quality in the Watford side. It's a good opportunity for me to play some games and get some football under my belt. "I always have a positive feeling when I come back here, that's why I jumped at the chance to come back. "A big attribute for a footballer is confidence, and that comes with minutes on the pitch. Here it's all about that and getting that confidence back, and I feel I can be a real asset. "There's nothing like being on the pitch, getting minutes in the Premier League. You can do as much training as you like, but there's nothing like being out there. "It's 15 minutes and hopefully I can get more and more in the next few weeks. "Footballers want to play and I want to get that feel-good factor back. I love this club and I want to bring back the good memories from seven years ago." Liv Echo

Cleverley wasn't the biggest problem was he? Gibson and Kone are still getting paid, and so are Oviedo and Jagielka, who I think all need to go. Oviedo said he wants to stay. Jagielka will probably stay until the summer, but it's going to be hard getting shut of the other two. It was a surprise to see Gibson get a club. Davey boy saved his bacon there I think.

Tom Cleverley is one appearance away from making his move to Watford permanent.
According to a report in the Watford Observer the midfielder will become a Watford player once he makes his ninth appearance with his seventh game for the club coming in the defeat at Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Cleverley is in his second loan spell at the club and has regained his best form since switching to Vicarage Road in January.
Despite Watford’s stumbling form the midfielder has been an impressive exception in the side after being told by Ronald Koeman that his prospects were extremely limited at Everton. No details have been revealed about a transfer fee or the length of the contract but the 27-year-old is under contract with Everton until 2020. Koeman is determined to overhaul the squad that he inherited from Roberto Martinez with few of the Spaniard’s players expected to survive the close season.
