At Everton between 2015 - 2017
Leandro Rodriguez joined Everton from River Plate Montevideo in the final week of the 2015 summer transfer window.
The young striker arrived in the Premier League after scoring 19 goals in 71 appearances in the Uruguay top division.
Moving to Everton at the age of 22, Rodriguez had spent his entire senior career with River Plate before making the switch to Goodison Park for an undisclosed fee.
In putting pen-to-paper on a four-year contract, he became the first Uruguayan player to sign for the Club.
Rodriguez, who has dual Italian nationality, netted nine league goals during 2014/15 – his final season playing in South America before moving to Merseyside.
On 31st January 2017, Rodriguez made a loan switch to Belgian side Waasland-Beveren until the end of the season.
Leandro was released from his contract on 10th August 2017 and joined Uruguayan club Danubio FC.
