Inaki Bergara - Profile (No longer at Everton)

Everton appointed goalkeeping coach Inaki Bergara in the summer of 2013 as he followed new manager Roberto Martinez from Wigan.

Spaniard Bergara first worked with his countryman at Swansea when Martinez took over in 2007 and subsequently moved north with him when the Latics came calling.

Bergara's playing career saw him on the books of Athletic Bilbao, Alaves, Murcia, Real Sociedad and Logrones - often as a backup custodian.

After ending his playing days Bergara moved into goalkeeper coaching, first alongside renowned Spanish boss Javier Clemente at his first club Bilbao.

He was then brought from Spain to Swansea when Martinez took the reins in South Wales.

He will work with Everton's established glovesman Tim Howard at Finch Farm, as well as the Blues' stable of young goalkeepers.

Inaki left Everton after Roberto Martinez was sacked at the end of the 2015-16 season.
