Aileen Whelan - Striker (No longer at Everton)
Striker Aileen Whelan spent three years at Notts County, having joined ahead of their maiden season in the WSL.
Prior to that she had turned out for Rushden & Diamonds, Barnet, MK Dons and Nottingham Forest.
Initially a central midfielder when she started out, she has been playing regularly as a striker or out wide in recent seasons.
While at Forest, she competed at the World Student Games, winning the gold medal, while internationally she has represented England at Under-23s level.
Whelan joined Everton alongside her former Notts teammate Fern Whelan in May 2017.
She made her Blues debut in the 1-0 Spring Series win over Durham at the Select Security Stadium, coming on for Simone Magill in the second half.
