On watching the game again on Everton TV and MotD and on here, we should remember we could easily have been 0-2 at HT. Redmond missed a sitter header when unchallenged, and Rodriguez did all the hard work only to blaze over. These were clear cut chances they didn't take. They then had another after HT which again Redmond could have buried, but credit also to Robles. Our own chances were not 'misses' in the same sense. But you score three and the world looks a rosier place.....but let's not delude ourselves that all the problems have been solved when you look at what was wrong that led to their chances: poor marking for Redmond; poor tackling for Jay R; and static defending for their third chance.
Not wanting to pi** on our bonfire, but I'm sure RK won't be convinced that he doesn't need to go in to the market at the back, despite AW and RFM looking by far the better partnership than anything containing Jags, whose time appears to be over at this level (go on lad, prove me wrong).

Everton fans do that a lot don't they? We score a few goals and all of a sudden Lukaku and Barkley are world beaters again, and our players should play for England. We're still playing some very poor football.
