He probably hung a weight around his neck with the late goal, so I hope he keeps getting game time and doesn't disappear into the reserves.

Lookman's Whirlwind First MonthTeenager pleased to make an impact so quickly after joining Blues.Ademola Lookman says he is relishing the opportunity to make an impact in the Everton first team so soon after joining from Charlton Athletic. It has been a whirlwind first month with the Blues for the 19-year-old winger, who marked his debut with a goal within seconds of being introduced as a substitute in the 4-0 victory over Manchester City. Two more impressive cameos against Crystal Palace and Stoke City followed, before manager Ronald Koeman handed Lookman his first start as the Toffees recorded a 6-3 victory over Bournemouth. “It’s been brilliant to come to a club like Everton with the supporters here and how much history the Club has is unbelievable,” he told evertontv. “The Evertonians have been brilliant since the first minute I walked in the door here. They’ve supported me so well and thinking back to when I scored my first goal, the support was just crazy. I haven’t had anything like it before and I’m just glad they’ve taken to me. “The players here are quality and I’m just happy to be part of that and to be able to contribute to the team. I already feel like I’m improving every single day. I’m learning a lot from the manager, players and coaches here. “It was good to get my first start and to win 6-3 was fantastic. I found out the day before, prepared myself and I’m just so pleased with the result. “I think I did alright. I lost the ball a few times and I was at fault for their second goal so it’s something I’ll look back on and try to rectify.” Lookman reserved praise for four-goal striker Romelu Lukaku, who has taken the England Under-20 international under his wing since his switch to Merseyside. “It was a brilliant start and finish, right into the top corner,” added Lookman. “He’s so clinical, he just scores goals for fun and he’s a great player to play with. “I can learn a lot off him. His finishing is unbelievable and I want to get to that level, too.” Everton FC Want to reply to articles as a guest?Loads more Everton News HEREREGISTER WITH LOVE EVERTON FORUM HERE Checkout our site map HERE

Certainly looks a great prospect. The standard of young players at our place now is exciting I thought he was average against Bournemouth. He's young, but I hate the way our fans get over excited.

Marco Silva has suggested to Everton's official Twitter account that Ademola Lookman won't break into his first XI until he starts making the most of his cameo appearances.
The 21-year-old has only managed four Premier League appearances for Everton this season, but all of them were off the bench.
Lookman is slowly but surely becoming a regular fixture in Silva's Toffees squad, and has appeared off the bench in each of their last two games - including the narrow 2-1 defeat by Manchester United.
The former Charlton prodigy, an £11 million signing in 2017, dazzled during a loan with Leipzig in Germany in the second half of last season, underlining his potential when given faith. But Silva, who joined Everton in the summer, has warned Lookman that he won't break into his best XI unless the youngster can replicate his training-ground magic when it matters.
He told Everton's official Twitter account: "I want to see him playing like he trains. And doing in the match what he can do in the training sessions. What he can is really, really good in the training sessions.
"I want him to transfer that to matches. I understand it's not always easy to do [off the bench]."
