The way they harp on about Ross like he has a divine right to play annoys the ***** out of me. Ron should tell them to remember there is a squad.

Coleman Expected To Face WatfordBut Koeman would have no problem turning to deputy Holgate.Ronald Koeman expects to have Seamus Coleman fit for the trip to Watford despite the defender picking up a knock against Manchester United last weekend. Coleman limped off after 67 minutes of the 1-1 draw with Jose Mourinho’s men and only returned to full training on Thursday morning. However, Koeman confirmed the Republic of Ireland international came through that session without any problems and will give him every chance to prove he is ready to face the Hornets. “Seamus is okay,” he said. “He did a normal first training session today. In the beginning of the week he still had some pain but it looks positive. Normally I’d expect him to be available for the match.” Mason Holgate replaced Coleman against the Red Devils to make his sixth appearance of the season and Koeman insists he would have no problem selecting the youngster once again should he need to deputise at Vicarage Road. “Mason was really impressive in the 20, 25 minutes he had,” added the Blues boss. “He defended well and, in the attacking sense, he gave good support to Gerard Deulofeu. “We know his situation. At the start of the season he had some injuries. But when we played with three centre-backs he did a good job. He showed he can have a big impact in the squad and that is a really good thing for a young player.” Koeman reported no further injury problems but will be without long-term absentees Muhamed Besic and Yannick Bolasie.

Apparently Troy Deeney has been on 99 league goals for 2 months. Got to be a banker with the bookies!!!!!! Another striker who hasn't scored for months? It must be catching. There aren't many good strikers in the league at the minute if you add them up.

Everton should be doing better than they are this season, says Watford bossWalter Mazzarri impressed by Blues showing against Manchester United but believes they have underachievedWatford boss Walter Mazzarri thinks Everton have under-performed so far this season. The Blues sit eighth in the table ahead of this weekend’s game with 11th-placed Watford at Vicarage Road. Former Inter Milan manager Mazzari says he was impressed with Everton’s performance against Manchester United last weekend but expected Ronald Koeman’s side to be riding higher in the standings than they are. “I think they (Everton) are a very strong team, they are at a very similar level compared to Southampton when we met them,” the Italian said. “They are doing a good tournament until now. Even though I agree, I think they can do better with the squad they have and the players they have. Mazzarri added: “But I think they are not very far away from the sixth place and it is a team that we should respect because it will not be an easy game. “I saw the game last week against Manchester United, and I saw that they played at the same level as them. I think it is also a team in form now.” Liv Echo
