Michael Ball - Gwladys goals were fitting tribute for HowardIt was fitting that Everton's goals went in at the Gwladys Street End on Sunday. The visit of West Ham was our first chance at home to commemorate the anniversary of Howard Kendall's passing. The ground applauded the great man in the fourth minute and were also reminded him of one of his most famous sayings. “Get the ball into the box and the Gwladys Street will suck it into the net" was shown on the big screens at Goodison. Lukaku and Barkley were the ones to score the goals on Sunday but Howard presence could most definitely be felt. Liv Echo
