Richarlison came of the bench to score for Brazil in a 4-0 win over Chile at the Maracanã stadium on Thursday night.
The 24-year-old replaced Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli as a 74th-minute substitute and struck his goal in impressive fashion in second half-stoppage time.
Collecting the ball on the right side of the penalty area, Richarlison cut back on to his left foot to beat his marker before curling a low shot into the corner of the net.
It was the Everton forward's 11th goal on his 33rd senior appearance for Brazil.
Vinícius Júnior, Neymar and Philippe Coutinho were also on the scoresheet for Tite's side, who have already secured their place at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Elsewhere, Nathan Patterson started for Scotland as Steve Clarke’s side were controversially held to a 1-1 draw with Poland at Hampden Park.
Operating as a right wing-back in a 3-4-3 formation, Patterson caught the eye with an energetic display before being withdrawn from the action on 67 minutes with the deadlock still intact.
Kieran Tierney notched his first senior international goal for the opener a minute later - and that strike looked as though it would be enough to extend Scotland’s six-game winning streak.
However, in the final minute of the contest, Poland were awarded a penalty when Krzysztof Piątek went down inside the area, with replays suggesting there was minimal contact.
The Fiorentina striker brushed himself down to convert the spot-kick himself to earn a draw - the sixth in the past 11 meetings between the two nations.
This international friendly was organised in partnership with UNICEF in support of the charity’s humanitarian response to the invasion of Ukraine.
Scotland were due to play Ukraine in a World Cup play-off semi-final this month, but, due to the ongoing conflict, the fixture was postponed and a new date has yet to be confirmed.
Elsewhere, Wales defeated Austria 2-1 in Cardiff, meaning they will play either Scotland or Ukraine for a place in the 2022 World Cup.

Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford impressed as England came from behind to beat Switzerland 2-1 in an international friendly at Wembley on Saturday evening.
After Breel Embolo’s pinpoint header put the Swiss ahead on 22 minutes, Pickford made a pair of stunning saves to prevent the away side from doubling their advantage.
First, Pickford showcased world-class reflexes to tip a fiercely-struck close-range effort from Fabian Frei onto the crossbar.
The Blues stopper – who played the full game on his 43rd senior England appearance – was then alert once more to beat away a swerving 20-yard strike from Ricardo Rodriguez.
England levelled in first-half stoppage time through Luke Shaw’s rasping drive and, while few clear-cut chances were created after the break, Harry Kane’s 78th-minute penalty –awarded following a VAR check for a Steven Zuber handball – secured victory for Gareth Southgate’s side.
Seamus Coleman, meanwhile, captained the Republic of Ireland to an excellent 2-2 home draw with world number one ranked team Belgium.
Ireland twice came from a goal down at Aviva Stadium, with Chiedozie Ogbene’s superb overhead kick equalising Michy Batshuayi’s early opener.
Belgium forged ahead through Hans Vanaken just before the hour-mark but an Alan Browne header five minutes from time earned the home side a deserved draw.
Right-back Coleman completed the full 90 minutes for the Irish.
England are back in friendly action on Tuesday evening when Ivory Coast visit Wembley, while the Republic of Ireland host Lithuania in Dublin on the same night.

Richarlison scored twice as Brazil extended their unbeaten World Cup qualifying campaign with a 4-0 away victory over Bolivia in La Paz on Tuesday night.
Having already booked their place in Qatar at the end of this year, the five-times world champions took their qualifying record to 14 wins from 17 matches, with Richarlison on target at the end of each half to make it five goals in his past five internationals.
Following a 24th-minute opener from Lucas Paqueta, the Everton forward made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time when he got on the end of Antony's pinpoint right-wing cross to finish from inside the area.
Newcastle's Bruno Guimaraes extended the advantage after the break before Richarlison sealed the win in the closing seconds, following up Dani Alves' saved shot to slide home at the back post.
The double means Richarlison, who was also on target in last week's 4-0 triumph against Chile, now has 13 goals from 34 international caps.

Richarlison opened the scoring to help Brazil to a 5-1 away victory over South Korea in a friendly on Thursday afternoon.
The Everton forward celebrated his 35th cap for the Seleção by netting his 14th international strike inside seven minutes.
The hosts equalised through Ui-jo Hwang on the half-hour mark, before Neymar converted two penalties either side of half-time to put Brazil ahead at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
With Tite's side in full control, Richarlison was replaced by Vinícius Júnior, who last week netted the winner in the Champions League final, with 20 minutes remaining.
Philippe Coutinho and Gabriel Jesus then notched in the closing stages to seal a comprehensive win.
Brazil, who have already secured their place at the World Cup in Qatar later this year, remain in East Asia for their next friendly, with a trip to Tokyo to take on Japan scheduled for Monday 6 June.
Richarlison's final game for his nation this summer will be another friendly against rivals Argentina in Melbourne, Australia, on Saturday 11 June.

Everton attacker Anthony Gordon was introduced as a second-half substitute as England Under-21s beat Czech Republic 2-1 in a U21 European Championship qualifier on Friday evening.
Gordon – who was recently awarded Everton's Players' Player and Young Player of the Season prizes – played the final 25 minutes of the game, to win his fifth cap for the Under-21s.
The victory in České Budějovice moves England top of qualification Group G.
Emile Smith Rowe’s thumping finish put Lee Carsley’s team in front on 22 minutes, before Jacob Ramsey slotted in from close range shortly after half-time to double England’s advantage.
The Czechs pulled one back late in the piece through Daniel Fila but England successfully saw the game out.
The clash was the first of four qualifiers England Under-21s will contest in June, with the team next in action against Albania on Tuesday at Chesterfield FC’s Technique Stadium.
A qualifier in Kosovo follows three days later, before the young Lions round off their qualification programme by taking on Slovenia on Monday 13 June at Huddersfield Town’s John Smith’s Stadium.
