I think people are quick to criticise , his injury has took it's toll. He needs a permanent move if he is ever to re-invent his career He was out a long time. I doubt he became shite all of a sudden. He might not get back in our side as we've moved on but no reason he can't get going again somewhere else. Agreed , he looked out of his depth in the Championship with villa tbh

Everton-owned winger Yannick Bolasie has suggested to Record that he is open to joining Sporting Lisbon in the summer transfer window.
Bolasie moved to Portuguese giants Sporting on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit Everton in the summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old winger has suggested that he is open to making the loan deal permanent next summer. Bolasie told Record: “First of all, it is an honour to have the opportunity to play for a club like Sporting. I have to look at things step by step because we can never predict the future.
“As you all know, Sporting have the option to buy me at the end of the season, but it’s the performances that will speak for me on the pitch.
"That’s up to me: going on the pitch and doing my best to help the team achieve positive results.” Bolasie has been on the books of Everton since 2016, but the winger has failed to make a huge impact at the Toffees.
The DR Congo international has had injury problems, and in recent times, he has been out on loan at Aston Villa and Anderlecht before joining Sporting this summer.
It is clear that Bolasie does not have a future at Everton under manager Marco Silva, and it would make sense for the winger to try to land a permanent contract at Sporting.
Sporting are a big club, and Bolasie will be a making a good decision if he signs a permanent contract with the Portuguese giants.

Former Everton and Crystal Palace winger Yannick Bolasie wants one last crack in the Premier League before he retires, it has been claimed.
The 34-year-old left Turkish side Caykur Rizespor at the end of last season and is currently a free agent and searching for a new club. He netted an impressive 17 goals in 26 league appearances for Rizespor, helping them gain promotion back into the Super Lig.
Bolasie enjoyed a successful four-year stint with Crystal Palace. There, he made 144 appearances in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and making 30 assists in the process.
His good form at Selhurst Park earned him a £25m move to Everton in 2016. However, he picked up a cruciate ligament injury soon after his arrival at Goodison Park, which started the downward trajectory of his Premier League career.
Bolasie also had brief spells at Aston Villa, Anderlecht and Sporting Lisbon, but never rediscovered the form he showed for Crystal Palace.
Now, Bolasie wants one last chance to prove he can still perform at the highest level. According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Bolasie ‘wants a new challenge’ in a ‘European Big Five club.’
The report notes that the DR Congo international’s preference would be a return to England, or would consider ‘evolving’ in France – where he played as a youngster before moving to England. Discussions are reportedly ‘underway’ with several European clubs and there is ‘a belief’ that a deal could be struck ‘quickly.’ It isn’t clear at this stage whether any of those clubs are from the Premier League.
It’s stated that Bolasie remains ‘in good shape’ despite the injuries he has faced throughout his career.
Despite his wishes, given his age and track record, it seems far more likely that Bolasie would join a Championship club rather than a Premier League one

He was good earlier in his career but he'll do well to find a club playing at a high level.
