Optimism is needed here! We are doing well in the toughest prem for many a year, Roberto seems to know the score with transfers so I see Jelly going as a sure sign we are bringing in a new striker or two Plus Jelly wasnt really doing his job properly over 2013 The games I watched him play in he mostly fell on or tripped over the ball the midas touch had certainly left him. But best of luck to him with Hull hope he keeps them up like !!!!

Judda is bang on regarding his games in the past year being below requirements and it's no good suddenly rediscovering form as soon as you are looking for another club as that just shows he wasn't good enough for Everton or he wasn't putting the effort in and we can't afford to pay him to sit on the bench each week. If he does hit form with Hull then they will be a really good team if their battle with us was anything to go on.

I'm a bit concerned as to why we are having complications about paying 7 mil up front for a striker when we are supposed to have money available. It looks like it's going to be the same old story where signings are concerned and we either pay on the never never or loan.

I listened to 5 live at the last transfer deadline when we nailed it at the last. One of the pundits was the ex chairman from liverpool he recounted some interesting insights on the nature of transfers one of which was the fact that most deals are done in this exact way and is considered norm. I am still convinced Roberto knows the score and we will do well this window COYB
