Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo could have several options to come to the Premier League in the near future, with Spanish outlet Sport reporting that Everton, Manchester United and Southampton are all interested in the youngster. Jean-Clair Todibo is back on Everton’s radar after they reportedly failed to sign the Barcelona centre-back in the winter market. On May 21st, both Sport and Mundo Deportivo reported the Merseyside club’s interest in the 20-year-old and it was also suggested the Toffees are in ‘pole position’ for his signing. Today’s edition of Sport claims the La Liga winners are ‘delaying negotiations’ with Carlo Ancelotti’s side for the Frenchman. Everton are considering to table an offer around €20-22m plus variables for Barcelona’s Jean-Clair Todibo. The centre-back is on loan at Schalke and they have decided against making his transfer permanent. Sport now brings the latest update on the 20-year-old and also provides a background on the Toffees’ interest. According to the report, the Merseyside club asked the La Liga winners about the Frenchman after finding out Schalke will not retain him beyond this season. It’s claimed Carlo Ancelotti’s side and the Catalan club have ‘long been in negotiations’ for the defender and the former have even tabled an offer worth €22m plus bonuses.
