Carlo Ancelotti is hoping to lure Ibrahim Sangare to Everton in the summer while Brighton and Hove Albion have already made a £17 million offer for the Ligue 1 powerhouse, according to SportMania. According to The Express, Everton are interested in signing Ibrahim Sangare from Toulouse in the summer transfer window. The report has claimed that the Toffees have scouted the midfielder for the past 18 months and opted against signing him last summer, moving for Jean-Philippe Gbamin for £22.5 million instead. Toulouse wanted £22 million as transfer fee for the 22-year-old 6ft 3in midfielder this summer, but after being relegated from Ligue 1 and due to him out of contract in 2021, they will have to settle for a reduced price, according to the report.

Premier League side Everton are one of the clubs who are chasing the River Plate star Nicolás De La Cruz, according to reports from the Argentine media today.
Newspaper Olé says the Toffees have been in touch with the player’s representatives, and could soon be making a move to sign him.
The outlet says that Everton are one of the two clubs who’ve been in talks with his entourage lately. The other one is from Germany, and even though it’s been reported it could be Borussia Dortmund, the agents claim it’s another Bundesliga side.
De La Cruz is protected by a release clause of €22m, but Olé considers is quite unlikely that any club would spend that much on the signing.

Everton and Napoli both made offers for the signing of Sporting midfielder Wendel last week, according to reports. Website Esporte News Mundo says both clubs are fighting for the signing, and it’s the Italian side who are confident they’re landing the Brazilian, since they’ve offered him more money.
It’s not written how much the sides are putting on the table for Sporting, who have the player on a contract until 2023. Wendel is set to make a decision about his future before the end of the season.
The report also claims Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has personally phoned the 22-year-old, so perhaps that’s a sign the Toffees still have a chance in this race.
