Big ants are starting to appear... First one I have seen this summer, so maybe the flying ant day is approaching... Paul.

We had our Swarming Days (there were two about a week apart) in mid July down here in London. Weeks of frantic activity around their colonies and then next to nothing for a fortnight or so. They're just now starting their foraging runs and establishing paths and territories again.

Such images have gained the photographer, 20, an incredible fan base on Instagram, which has seen his follower count rise to more than 150,000. Big ants are starting to appear... First one I have seen this summer, so maybe the flying ant day is approaching... Paul. Nice pictures. I didn't see too many ants this summer. Normally they are a nuicance and get in the hose looking for food.
