I like the way he escapes to a cosy chalet and leaves the rest of us to fathom out the last 30 seconds of the match. A cosy chalet with my leg in ice and compression with a grade 2 calf tear. Not that cosy! Ouch. It sounds like you will have plenty of time to write your next article lol.

Yourself and halewoodblue are very much at extremes where attitudes come together. I think somewhere inbetween is where I lie. The team are very soft and a bit of experience is needed in order to not make the same mistakes.

No, I can't agree this time Ross. Everton fans don't feel sorry for themselves. The fact we sometimes say that we "Did an Everton" is often born from past experience, and our way of not getting too upset over something, as most of us are reasonable people, and we certainly aren't feeling sorry for ourselves. I think you are being far too hard on fans this time.
I just find 'Everton that' and 'Doing an Everton' is just so weak. We aren't the only club to cock things up, but we're closer to ours than others, so we don't see the other perspective. I wonder if Liverpool fans talk about Liverpool That when they spend too much on a player who can't hack it? Do United fans say United That when they have an enormous injury list and can't get Phil Jones to play two games in a row? Probably they say something, but it's all from a negative perspective and I find it draining, not funny at all, so I just don't see the point. Comment on our performance by all means, but why do fans feel it necessary to add silly hash tags? The worst I saw this week on twitter was #fuc*offtim - I mean, how stupid is this? We all know he's not at his best anymore, but how does something like that help? Fans have a way of dealing with disappointment.
