I am not sure Rom was 100% after his ankle knock, which in some way would excuse his "tired" looking approach. If so, it emphasises how much we need another striker. Everton aren't big on partnerships are they? When was the last time you had one?

You have had a few in the past, and I admit it is a lot longer since we had a recognised partnership up front. Whether we like it or not, our current manager seems to like the whole squad to play as a unit rather than two player partnerships. We have seen Geri and Rom link up well and score a few, but I would not class that as an out and out strike partnership.

Lol, we've had a few good ones in our time too lad. Why Martinez plays your Ivorian is puzzling as surely Mirallas is the best attacker you have in your squad bar Lukaku.
