seems to have the potential to be world class and I would love nothing better to see him wear the number nine, but chelski would be foolish to let him leave, plus cant see us stumping up 20/25 mill. then again stranger things have happened.

He's certainly taken his goals well and that is a positive for sure which makes it even more interesting that the strikers at Chelsea have been unable to score a single goal between them so far. Even their defenders have scored 2 goals and middle of the park 4. It makes you wonder if they have so many players on their books that don't play or are out on loan that they're simply moving money about. I'd like to see us play with 2 strikers like Liverpool.

He's not the finished article by some margin in terms of his own potential but yesterdays goal showed he only needs the ball to be dangerous. He's certainly one of the most exciting prospects we've had in a while, and if he was available at the end of a successful season I think we would come up with a deal. It's a bit early to get carried away though, as we have a player in good form, so once we've seen both sides of his game we'll know better.

yeah, its a strange one, not sure 'the special one' will admit to making a mistake like letting the big fella leave, but its our gain at the end of the day. as to playing with two strikers, with Moyes at the helm I was crying out for two strikers, but with Bobby's style of footy and actually having the balls to play Barkley just behind the front man I think 4 supporting mids (including barkley in the hole that is) and either Barry or Gibson sitting in front of the defense is the better way to break teams down.
