Chris Ramsey still believes QPR can fight off relegation • Head coach sends out upbeat message ahead of Everton clash • Four of QPR’s remaining matches are at Loftus Road QPR head coach Chris Ramsey prepares his side before the Premier League clash with Everton. Chris Ramsey goes into Sunday’s home match against Everton backing his Queens Park Rangers team to avoid the drop – despite recent defeats. The Hoops have lost their last four Premier League games, including last weekend’s 3-1 setback at Crystal Palace which dropped the team to 19th in the standings. They are four points off the last safe spot with nine games remaining, have not tasted victory since a 2-0 win at Sunderland on 10 February and have the worst defence in the competition with 52 goals conceded. “I still think we can get the points that we need,” Ramsey said. “If we stop believing that we can stay up now, then the whole season has been a wash. We must maintain the grit and determination we have shown in our past few games.” Four of their nine remaining matches will be played at Loftus Road, including today’s encounter. QPR have collected 19 of their current 22 points at home. “We are aware that we are running out of time and out of games,” Ramsey said. “We have to go out on Sunday and give our best. “Apart from the Crystal Palace game, the performances have been good. We have been unlucky in certain games. We just have to make sure that we don’t give away silly goalslike we have done and that we stay together.” Guardian

Let's hope we come away with at least a draw tomorrow.
A win is expected, but our players will be really low spirited after the Europa exit and Martinez has to get them up for this game.
