Arsene Wenger is set to launch a double transfer raid on Borussia Dortmund with a move for Mats Hummels and Ilkay Gundogan in a deal worth £63m.
Wenger has been a long-time admirer of Hummels but will follow up that interest by tieing up a move for midfielder Gundogan at the same time, believes the Daily Star. Hummels has refused to commit his future to the club and revealed he has received offers from various clubs during his time with Dortmund. have always decided not to leave. Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham have joined them in the race to sign West Ham defender Winston Reid.
