It's Boxing day, and everybody knows that Everton 'always' win on Boxing day (I think) so very positive about our chances.

Stoke: Begovic, Cameron, Shawcross, Muniesa, Pieters, Whelan, Nzonzi, Walters, Bojan, Arnautovic, Diouf. Stoke subs: Butland, Huth, Wilson, Palacios, Adam, Assaidi, Crouch. On the strength of that team sheet (but without knowing exactly WHERE Martinez will play some of them), I'd be pretty confident of a win...not a big win but a win. 2-1 seems about right. Question: Why the Friar Tuck is Besic not even on the bench...a perfect player to take on Stoke's physical presence I'd have thought.

Had he been on the bench, I'd have been unhappy that he had been dropped but to not be in the squad suggests injury, illness, or incident.
