Fans Forum Welcoming Applicants For 2019Do you feel you have something to offer as part of the Club’s official Fans’ Forum? Applications for the 2019 intake of new members for the Fans' Forum are now open - and it could be your chance to represent supporters and take part in key Club projects. The Forum convenes as a full group on a monthly basis, acting as a touch-point between the Club and the wider fanbase to deliver feedback and ideas. In the last year, the Fans' Forum has been directly involved in a number of Club projects, including input into the Season Ticket pricing strategy, hosting a series of New Stadium workshops with Dan Meis attended by almost 1,000 supporters and progressing the Holy Trinity Statue project. Each Forum member serves a three-year term and this year there are four vacancies. In the year ahead, the Forum will be involved in a number of Club projects which will include ongoing consultation and involvement over the Club’s new stadium, the Goodison Legacy project, ticket pricing and improvements to matchdays at Goodison Park. Gary Evans, the current Chair of the Forum, is looking forward to welcoming new supporters to the group. He said: "As Chair of the Fans' Forum I would urge anyone who believes that they can make a difference for other Evertonians to apply. The Forum needs people with a real passion, not just for the team but also for the Club. Supporters should be at the heart of the decisions that the Club makes around the new stadium and the legacy left at Goodison - and the Forum is a powerful voice as we approach such a crucial period in our history." Everton Fans’ Forum has elected new members following a supporters’ vote.
Using their customer number to make their choices from a shortlist of eight, Evertonians chose to re-elect Annemhaire Richardson and welcome Jan Syme, Paul Quirk and Jamie Yates. Departing the Forum after completing their three-year tenures are Jeanette Salmon, Lewis Owen and Ruth Eardley, while Jazz Bal will take up the vacant position left by Mark Cartman who is leaving the Forum due to personal commitments.
All of the Forum changes will come into effect at the end of January.
The Forum, which meets monthly, helps shape Club policy on fan-related matters as well as leading on a number of Club and fan-related projects.
Over the past year, the Fans' Forum has been directly involved in a number of Club projects, including input into the Season Ticket pricing strategy, hosting a series of New Stadium workshops with Dan Meis attended by almost 1,000 supporters and progressing the Holy Trinity statue project.
The percentage of voters who selected each candidate as one of their choices was as follows:

Jazz Bal has been elected as the Everton Fans’ Forum Chair for the next 12 months, while Lisa Vaughan and Nick Mernock have been elected as Vice Chairs.The role of Chair and Vice Chair is voted for by Forum members on an annual basis each January. Officers can hold their post for a maximum of three years. Jazz joined the Everton Fans’ Forum in February 2019. He is currently serving in the British Army as a Warrant Officer Class-1 in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, having seen routine and operational service across the UK and overseas for more than 23 years. Last year Jazz initiated an Armed Forces Day event, aimed at bringing serving Evertonians closer to their Club. The event was attended by members of all three Services and veterans enjoyed a guided tour of the Club’s Liver Building HQ, a presentation about the ‘Liverpool Pals’ and an opportunity to meet Everton Ambassador Graham Stuart. This was followed by the setting up of the Tri-Service Toffees, the Club’s first affiliated military Supporters’ Club which supported in the planning and activating of the 2019 Remembrance Day fixture at Goodison Park. Jazz has also set up a project group with Forum members and Club catering partner Sodexo to help ensure service on matchdays continues to suit the needs of Evertonians. Jazz said: “I am extremely proud to have been elected as Chair of the Everton Fans’ Forum; hopefully I can build on the great work done by my predecessors Ian Ball and Gary Evans. I’m also looking forward to welcoming our newest members - four new additions from a pool of strong candidates. “The more new ideas and perspectives we can bring together in the Forum, the better. It is an exciting time to be an Evertonian and I will be aiming to maintain and develop the close liaison between our fanbase and our Club.” Everton FC

The vote to select new members to the Everton Fans’ Forum is now open. All supporters with an Everton Customer Number are eligible to vote and select from a shortlist of nine candidates. The four candidates who receive the highest number of votes will be invited to join the Fans’ Forum later this month. The voting period runs from Friday 7 February to Friday 21 February (4pm). Everton Fans’ Forum has announced four new members, as voted for by supporters.
The new members are:
Joe O’Reilly Dawn Kehoe Tony Sampson David Wycherley
For the first time, the Forum has international representation via Joe O’Reilly, a member of the Irish Toffees Supporters’ Club, and Tony Sampson, a member of the Chicago Evertonians Supporters’ Club.
Dawn Kehoe brings her insight of travelling home and away to games, while David Wycherley belongs to The County Road Bobblers, the fan group responsible for the fundraising drive to create the Moise Kean ‘No Al Razzismo’ banner.
The Forum would like to thank departing members, Ian Ball, Tom Moore and Louis Reed-Foster for their contribution during their time as Forum members.
