TEAM NEWS Everton boss Roberto Martinez will give late fitness tests to Steven Naismith, James McCarthy (both hamstring) Darron Gibson (knee) and John Stones (ankle) ahead of the visit of QPR - but Gareth Barry is definitely out as he serves a one-match ban for collecting five yellow cards.
Stones hasn't featured since injuring himself against Manchester United in October but is back training ahead of schedule and may play some part against Harry Redknapp's men.
Gibson, Naismith and McCarthy have missed the Blues' last six, five and four games respectively.
Striker Charlie Austin is suspended for QPR after being sent off against Burnley, but Redknapp is hopeful of having a near full squad of players to choose from.
Alejandro Faurlin and Sandro (both knee) are long-term absentees.
FORM QPR head to Merseyside in what Everton boss Roberto Martinez acknowledged on Friday is their best spell of form this term.
Despite occupying 18th position in the Premier League table, Rangers travel up from the capital having won two of their last three games - including last Saturday's 2-0 triumph over Burnley.
Redknapp's side have also held Manchester City to a 1-1 draw in recent times, while they were perhaps unfortunate not to take more in defeats against Liverpool (2-3) and Chelsea (1-2).
Everton will be looking to rediscover their winning touch. The Blues' last three league games have seen a 1-1 home draw with Hull City sandwiched by losses at Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
LAST MEETINGEverton 4-0 QPR, 4 January 2014
Nikica Jelavic notched his final goals for Everton as the Blues cruised into the fourth round of the FA Cup with victory over then-Championship outfit QPR.
Roberto Martinez's men were already 1-0 ahead thanks to a neat low finish from youngster Ross Barkley when Jelavic struck from the edge of the box on the stroke of half-time.
The Croatia international added another from close range after the break but then fluffed his shot at a hat-trick when his Panenka penalty came back off the crossbar.
However, it mattered little to the outcome and Seamus Coleman stole in to side-foot home Everton's fourth and complete the scoring with 14 minutes remaining.
ONE-TO-WATCH: Bobby ZamoraA well-travelled striker with no shortage of Premier League experience, 33-year-old Bobby Zamora joined QPR from West London neighbours Fulham in January 2012 and wrote himself into Rangers folklore in May when he notched the last-gasp play-off final winner that secured the club's return to the Premier League.
Capped twice by England, the former Bristol Rovers, Brighton, Tottenham and West Ham forward is yet to score this season but could be the one to fill the void of the suspended Charlie Austin on Monday night.
