Interesting line up.
I'm not sure why we don't have Coleman playing, and Eto'o has been of little use.
Not much of an outlet for our defenders.
I'd consider how we can keep the ball a bit better and close them down.

Is Barkley in the squad? If so I'd have played him instead of Osman

We got lucky with the Linesman (a good investment buy Everton ) but I thought we defended brilliantly and hit them on the break well. I'm happy with Lukaku's performance. His hold up play was excellent at times and I believe it will only get better. A classic away performance.

His hold up play was excellent at times and I believe it will only get better. A classic away performance. Lots of good performances tonight. We were struggling up until they scored and then we seemed to get the message and dig in. I felt we were lacking in the middle throughout the game, and it was all a bit bouncy and 50/50. Once again we hurt them on the counter, and I think Lukaku was very good tonight, not to just concentrate on him. The only player who I think needs to up his game a bit and get involved more is Eto'o, as he seems to take it all in his stride a bit, where I would rather have Naismiths work rate. Also, why risk McCarthy at all, if we had Osman and Barkley on the bench?

BTW I really like the look of Kevin De Bruyne.
We missed an opportunity there when he left Chelsea.
